Although recreational marijuana, medical marijuana and legalised CBD are all members of the cannabis family, CBD is distinguished from other cannabis by its extremely low level of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive substance that makes the user ‘high’. Legalised CBD does not contain THC.

As it is an entirely natural product the dosage can vary from person to person and may depend on the severity of the individual’s ailment.
